What exactly do you file to form my LLC?
The state's formation document, usually called Articles of Organization or a Certificate of Formation. We prepare it from the details you give us (company name, state, registered agent, management), you approve it, and we file it with the Secretary of State. The state issues a stamped confirmation, which we deliver to you.
How much will it cost me?
One all-in price, published on this page and the pricing page. That price already includes the state's own filing fee, so there is nothing extra to pay the state. And there's no free-first-year teaser.
Which state should I form in?
That depends on where you do business and your own tax and legal situation, so it's a decision we can't make for you: choosing a state or entity type is legal and tax advice. Most owners form in the state where they operate. If you want guidance, a licensed professional in your state is the right call.
Do I need a registered agent before I can form?
Yes. Every state requires an LLC to name a registered agent at formation: a street address in the state that receives legal and official mail. If you don't have one, we can act as your agent; it's a separate, clearly priced service.
What will I need after my LLC is formed?
Forming the company is step one. Most companies then need an EIN from the IRS (which the IRS issues for free) and will owe an annual report or franchise filing later; miss that filing and your good standing is at risk. We can help with both, and each is priced on its own. We don't bundle them into a formation package you can't see inside of.
